Project 3: Hoarding

The aim of the project was to develop a structural solution for a 3-dimensional surface for the hoardings design of a large-scale development site. The key goal of this assignment was to create a hoardings design for the new Engineering Faculty building(design by DCM) that is architecturally distinguished and offers a vibrant, landmark interface to the greater city.

Project 2: Temporary Pavilion

The aim of the project was for groups to develop a modular structural solution, in the form of a prototype,  for a full scale pavilion structure for use at the Sydney Architectural Festival at Customs House on 5th October, 2009.

Project 1A+1B: Materials Performance Workshop

The aim of both exercises was to understand the basic issues of structure, construction and materials. In 1A we explored the vertical and lateral performance of a modular-based materials system.
